This has been ongoing for quite some time now, but made worse since the RoS release. The temp ban suggestion is one that's been floated around by myself and a few (enlightened) others. It works well in other online games I play in so it should be fine here as well. The quitting gets so bad that I started a HvV match and the opening sequence showed full teams, get into gameplay, two people quit within seconds of starting. Nothing like playing HvV 2 vs 4.<<severe sarcasm alert
Playing Heroes v Villains solo has by far got worse since the last update due to the higher increase of quitters. People are quitting right out at the start and I think most are clearly doing it deliberately and having a temp ban for quitters I agree would help. I also have noticed a lot of the times the server won't add another player. So sad...

HvV lobbies AND HS lobbies have been bugged with matchmaking and filling lobbies for ages!
as far as early quitters go I absolutely would NOT employ early quit penalties UNTIL EA / DICE address bugs AND are balance the game!
playing HvV as a single player has become total trash. Because of the clear imbalances it’s no wonder people don’t want to play in various lobbies.
This has never been as big of an issue as it has since the RoS update and that ought to tell us all something; it’s because of what they’ve done to the game.
don't penalize players for not wanting to play a broken AND imbalanced game; penalize the Devs for doing this to us.

Well it's something we all want but it's quite obvious after over 2 years the game being out they won't ever address bugs and balancing properly so something that could help for now would be a penalty for quitters in H v V or even just have grouped teams of 3 or 4 match other groups. I only play H v V since day 1 and sure there always was quitters but before the server would add a player. Now at least 50% of the time it's not adding a player the whole game. Also people would never just quit out right at the start of the game like I'm seeing now. This is something most people are doing deliberately. Like the guy above said in this post, a lot want a penalty for quitters (only in H v V) because it's been proven to work same as having groups matching groups. This is also something I've seen work on other games

Well the game mode quitting has increased significantly since the RoS update; all the Devs need to do is reverse the mechanical imbalance that was included with that update.
I agree that bugs have been evident for years and, in truth, if it were ONLY just bugs I think we could all live with it but the imbalanced gameplay they’ve installed into the game is far worse than the bugs and IMO why so many MORE people quit now than they used to.
sure, they’re not going to fix all the bugs after all these years and we all know that but right now the game is almost unplayable for many gamers and if you try to apply a penalty for early quits you’ll simply have nobody play the game at all. The need to adjust the imbalance first; if they do that I think an early quit penalty would be fair.

Hi,
I absolutely agree with this comment. Players should not be penalized for quitting out during games. I admit that I occasionally do quit out during games, especially on heroes vs villains. I don't quit deliberately, it's because the matchmaking balancing is so bad that it allows 4 high level players to be matched on one side, then 1 high level player and 3 low level players to be matched on the other side.
What happens is that the 4 high level players stick together and the low level players are left wandering trying to figure out the game. So it's just me against 4 high level players. I try my best and at times do embarrass the 4 high level players. What then happens is they either won't leave me alone all match because they want to take out one of the strongest players first to make it easier for themselves, or they leave me alone and just go after the low level players.
The match quickly becomes dominated by the 4 high level players and the fun element evaporates. Games are meant to be fun, what's the point of playing a game/match that your not enjoying? Play a different game, join another lobby.
I intend no offence to any new or low level players. I was once a new/low level player that had to learn the mechanics of the game. I'm defending both the high level and new/low level players because the matchmaking balancing is unfair for both.
PS. If everyone quits out of the game because of these issues, then the company will have to make changes.
Leave players alone and turn your attention to the owner of the company.
I'm writing this on behalf of some of the comments that I've read in this category.
All the best

At this point it’s turned into the exact opposite. If you get a squad of 4 high level players it’s because they’re grouped together in an actual squad group; that’s not likely to be the matchmaking.
most of the HvV matches now are dominated by the lower level players due to the handicap put on higher players.
the matchmaking in this game has never been great but it’s not the game putting 4 high level players together; that’s 4 people in a party playing together; there’s nothing to be done about that.
as far as the quit outs go; I don’t blame players. I know a good amount of long term veteran players quitting because the handicap against them makes the gameplay so poor it’s not worth it.
