Hi,
@VetteC5RX I played CS today and my team was completely dominated. While playing the game I was observing the statistics of kills and points scored from each player on both teams. The majority of players on the opposite side had greater kills and score than that of my team, so the mean average was far greater than that of my team.
It seemed as though every player on the opposite side new exactly what they were doing.
Have you experienced a game where the mean average has been lower on your team and you have still won the game?
All the best
@lukeobionechew Ehh that’s a somewhat less specific observation than what I’ve been tracking.
the short answer to you question is, YES; I have been in matches where my team was absolutely steamrolled (HvV, HS, & GA).
The idea though is to go beyond that. Yes, there are some instances where players will rightfully smack my team with good gameplay; what I try to do is if I’m getting walked over is to look at “how” and “why”
predominantly the opponents are a lower level. I already established from closed testing that lower level characters have different attributes CONSISTENTLY. (greater mobility, higher saber swings or higher fire rate, lower blaster spread, greater dodge, etc). Once I was able to establish the consistent pattern with the lower players in closed testing then once I’m in a multiplayer open game and I notice we’re getting smacked then all I need to do is observe WHOM is doing the smacking ... almost the entire time it’s lower level players.
so yeah I’m seeing it too! If you’re getting smacked down try to keep an eye on the levels of the players who are beating you and if there’s a pattern. If you’re playing well and timing your movements, strikes, and abilities keep an eye on the attributes of your opponents ... how long it takes them to recover from a knock back or whether or not your abilities appear to get ignored vs your opponents. I bet you see the same pattern.
