Unable to Key Bind My Extra Mouse Buttons

I normally use my 2 extra mouse buttons for different actions in the game. I have one set to combat roll and the other set to my left ability slot. However 2 days ago in the middle of a match whenever i would use my left ability my character would dodge roll and then if i clicked the other mouse button the ability would activate. I thought it was just a one time bug but that issue kept on happening. So far about 50% of the time it'll dodge roll and the other half it will use the ability when pushing either button. I went to the controls settings and tried to fix the key binds. But when I got there I saw the mouse buttons settings for both the combat roll and left ability were blank. I went ahead and tried to rebind the buttons but it would not let me. So I restarted my game and tried again but for some reason it would not take the mouse buttons. After trying so many different times I finally saw it bind to a key but it called it mouse button 3. However my mouse calls the extra buttons as 4 and 5. Inside the game it keeps considering both 4 and 5 as mouse button 3 and I cant seem to bind them separately . I updated my mouse drivers and have tried to rebind them with my mouse's software and that didn't work either. I have a Razer Basilisk Ultimate and am using the Razer Synapse software. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
