Unable to launch game on PC
I've seen a few posts about it on here, reddit and steam.
The game simply doesn't launch, apparently the issue is that whenever I launch the game some program called "ActivationUI.exe" located (D:/Program Files (x86)/STAR WARS Battlefront II/Core/ActivationUI.exe) has to be launched as well, but it immediately closes according to the Epic Games Launcher logs and their support team (who btw figured out in minutes what was going on).
I've tried every solution that has been recommended:
-Tried running Microsoft System file checker
-I've done a clean install of both launchers and the game itself.
-I've repaired and reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables both x64 and x86. (all of them from 2005 to 2015).
-All files are set to Run as Administrator
-Drivers have been both rolled back and updated.
-Windows is updated.
Still no solution, no update, no nothing. I basically have no access to one of their products.
Finally managed to fix it by formatting a whole hard drive and only installing the ea app, the epic games launcher and BFII in it. Not ideal but at least it works now.
