Unable to sign in to EA account after resetting the password

I was trying to login to my EA  account but my password had expired and told me to reset it. Eventually I did and the website said “Success your password has been changed” so I went back to the game and it is still telling me to reset the password. So I had to create a new account to link this one up to my Xbox account but I can’t link more than one. So now I can’t access the actually good part of the game.
