Map design, hm. Play less GA then. As you are talking about Battlefield, GA is nothing but a rush mode and I have always been disliking rush modes because they're always so camper and nade spam friendly with their designated attacker vs defender team setup as well as their maps that are mainly chokepoints and allow little maneuvering.
CS on the other hand is a conquest mode, or even more accurate, the titan mode from Battlefield 2142 as the final destination is fighting on the enemy dreadnought.
Supply crates are probably not a good feature for this game, as all other abilities simply have a cooldown and the game is too arcade sided with these abilities and weapons anyways. (Ok, the weapons in Battlefield 1 are very arcade too, but fit the setting as well)
I mean this game is really fast-paced and it'd be rather bad for reinforcements and blaster heroes because they have a different way to fight and role and it'd suck if they always need to return to a support soldier.
For lightsaber heroes (what about vehicles?) it'd be more a wildcard then as they never need to refill any ammo.
If we want to make it like in Battlefield, it should be possible to pick up the equipment of dead soldiers and thereby switch classes, so you can drop an ammo crate before switching back to your own equipment.
Which then again is not possible to do for reinforcements, heroes and vehicle drivers (as they can't exit the vehicle without it despawning).
I remember how in older Battlefield titles every class and even vehicle needed ammo crates, but these were rather low-paced and there were always only 4 classes.

Yes kinda went out of my mind with the supply crates(mesa dumb completely forgot that in theory it will refresh abilities etc etc as well) Nice concept of being pick up other classes but I am not rly sure how it will feel in the SW universe. I've been blaming the game less by playing CS and accepting the fact that as a hero you will die and it is not due to targeting...
