Why wouldn't EA bring back live support for battlefront 2

Question

With EA play live over and no new Star Wars games being announced, I don't see why EA wouldn't come back to Battlefront 2 and begin live support again. Pc players create character models and maps because the game is missing so much content. The player base is still very active and with new maps, characters etc. it would only increase. I cant understand why EA wouldn't do this because star wars fans are pissed about no new games until next year,&nbsp; so at least give them a game to play until then.

I agree so much with you. The game is missing so much content such as Galactic Assault and Starfighter Assault for instant action or split screen. They could also add crossplay for this game and a mode like portal from Battlefield 2042 for this game. It had so much potential.

I just hope that after DICE will finish releasing Battlefield 2042, either they will bring back support for Battlefront II or make a Battlefront III but even the latter might not happen sadly.

@Player55 crossplay?🤣😅😅 Do you realize the amount of hackers actively playing Battlefront 2 at this moment? Inviting them to consoles is gonna be worse than dealing with the inbalances of the game.
