While I hesitate to call this solved after opening only one crate, I was able to open one today without my xbox shutting off. I'll let you know how the weekend goes.
EDIT: Whatever magic there was yesterday afternoon is gone. The daily crate shut off my xbox this morning (5/5).

Can I ask if you have any unopened crates on your account at the moment? Could you provide us with a screenshot?
I took a quick peek at your account and it looks like everything has been opened and you've received the content. The system doesn't show any errors, that's why I need a bit more information from you.
