I have this same overheat shutdown issue. I’ve never had an issue with overheat shutdowns on any other game. I have two Xbox one x’s and they both exhibited this shutdown issue on Battlefront 2.  Something is up with this game causing this. Happened the other day to both machines.

Thanks for the details. How frequently is this happening? It's a very curious issue due to how few reports of this we're seeing. It's it would only affect a very small portion of people playing on Xbox One Xs.
