This has been fixed in the recent 2.0 update. Took a while but at least it's done, may the force be with you pilots.

First thing I did was change to Aviator on the Xbox. Have never had this problem in any game till this game. Makes it completely unplayable for me.. Can't undo 19 years of a playing style and learn the default settings (which would mess with my ability to play other games), a waste of money this game was.

  EA don’t seem to want to talk about this, but I saw on Twitter that the chap in charge of the project said that they were aware but had no ETA on the fix. Hopefully it’s soon!

    I have the same issue on pc with an xbox one controller (with both bluetooth and the xbox wireless adapter). Tried for 5 hours to get some workarounds to function, but no luck. Just gonna have to wait for a patch before I can play.
