Battlefront Deluxe Edition (Xbox One) Code not Working

I pre-ordered the game from Target and used the code they provided on the pre-order card on the ameriward.com website. The site then sent me an email with the 25 digit Xbox One code that I inputted. It gave me a confirmation that the code was a Battlefront Pre-Order code and I selected to continue, yet I still do not have access to the downloaded content (such as the DL-44 blaster or the other items and emotes) that was promised. I had to play a few hours without this in game content that was promised once I pre-ordered the deluxe edition of the game. I am certain that I followed all of the steps correctly, I just don't have access to those pre-order code items that I paid for with my Deluxe Edition purchase.

Is there something I missed or a step that I need to take further to have access to this content?

@SmArF9793 There's nothing EA can do about this, you will have to contact Target about it since EA did not sell you the code and don't have much control over it.

I understand that, but the fact that the code worked and was confirmed on Xbox Live on my dashboard is troubling. When I tried to activate and input the code again it states that the code was already used. I still do not have access to the deluxe edition unlocks after trying different and multiple options.

I have seen that this is a widespread problem among others on these forums and other forums so it is undeniably not just me who is experiencing this.

@SmArF9793 You might want to try Xbox Support first than, you don't see the game as owned anywhere within the store where it shows all your owned games and DLC?

I own the game and have been playing it for hours, I just do not have access to the Deluxe Edition downloadable content that was guaranteed with that purchase. I used the code I was given, I was given confirmation that the code worked, and still do not have access the the DL-44 Blaster, the accessories, or the emotes that came free with the Deluxe Edition purchase.

Oh i understand what you mean. Thought that would have been included with the download...

If you didn't get a separate code in an email somewhere you would want to try Xbox support still about it. If they aren't able to assist you should request a callback on EA's help page since they are more efficient than live chat.
