BD-1 is gone. I can't proceed.

Product: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug After the jail mission (start of chapter 4) BD-1 disappeared. Because of that, i cannot open the holomap or use any of BD-1s abilities, except for opening chests. When i open a chest, BD-1 is invisible in the animation. I cannot make any progress in the story now, because i need BD-1 to open a door on Kashyyk.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the prison mission and see if he disappears.
What happens when the bug occurs? As stated before, i can't use any of BD-1's abilities, making me stuck in the game.
What do you expect to see? I expect to play a good game without game-breaking bugs.

Please do something ASAP, many people are experiencing this and it ruins the game. I have tried nearly everything to get the droid back, but nothing works. The only solution i see is to start a new game, but i dont want to lose 15+ hours of gameplay. This is not what i spent 70 dollars on.

    I have the same issue as well.  I did not rescue BD-1 from the jail and was allowed to proceed without him.  I cannot return to the jail to get him and can't proceed with gameplay as is.

    Me too.  I had died before the last scene and couldn’t go back to find him.  Now he’s gone and it’s useless to proceed.

    if you try to continue to play forward you will run into what I will call a "droid check" where you can go back through some areas the long way before getting to appoint at which you get to an unavoidable droid check that you must pass to continue. this a game-breaking bug that needs to be fixed NOW. considering that I cannot go back via an old save it is literally impossible to continue playing

    Needs fixed ASAP. The game is literally unplayable..

    @ReaGangz haven't been able to play since a few hours after release, still waiting for something, a response, anything ☹️
