Cant pre-load Star Wars Battlefront- Stops at 21%

Hello!

I am hoping I can find some answers on here because I am having zero luck with the help ticket I sent in. I am trying to pre-load Star Wars Battlefront. I pre-purchased the game and have repeatedly tried to pre-load to no avail. My game has stopped consistently at 21% and hasnt given me any error report to explain why it isnt working. I know my internet and computer are stable and very fast so I am completely lost on this. Hoping I can find some answers. Attached is a picture of the problem. Thank you so much for reading!

@SwedlshChef have you already tried to run Origin as administrator and to download and install the latest version of our Origin client from our website: www.origin.com/download

    Cheers

I've been having the same problem. I've updated, ran as administrator and also canceled and restarted the downloaded. Still hasn't fixed my issue ☹️

I've been having this problem as well. The download stops at 21% (at this point it's no longer the pre-load- I want to play it). I've tried restarting the download, running Origin as an admistrator, and then reinstalling Origin and running as an administrator as well. I had a similar problem with the beta, which was never actually resolved. I bought this with the hope I wouldn't have the same problems again. It seems I was wrong to hope for that. At least this time, I can hope for a fix to the problem. I know it has nothing to do with my internet because other things are downloading at normal speeds, and Battlefront was downloading until it hit 21% (exactly where it stopped BOTH times I tried to download it).

I've figured out that when I switch wi-fi networks, the download works for a while. Even then, it starts out downloading and then trickles back down to 0 B/s within about 20 seconds. I would try to download the whole game on another wi-fi network if I could, but the only other network I have is my phone's mobile hotspot, and I can't afford to download 20+ gbs of data from there. The only wi-fi network near me is my school's wi-fi network, so I can't even go somewhere like Starbucks to finish the download because they still have the school's wi-fi there. My school is so huge, the nearest other wi-fi source is well over a mile away. I have been waiting on a fix for this for quite some time, and I'm honestly pretty disappointed that this problem, that was around during the beta, still isn't fixed. For those of you that have the same problem, try downloading on another wi-fi network if you're lucky enough to be able to get to one; it might work for you.

I've tried to fix this problem with all the above methods, nothing is working. Any other ideas to fix this?

I'm also still having this problem.  The EA solution is not working for me, as I have reinstalled Origin and am running in Administrator mode.  I had this same problem for the beta, but don't remember how I fixed it.
