Cockpit Instruments & HUD Settings Requests
Personally I would like to play the game with as little HUD elements as possible and use Cockpit instruments only.
However in multiplayer, I find it difficult to compete or play properly relying on cockpit instruments only.
There are some HUD elements that you can hardly do without, which however I´d like to be more adjustable in the settings. For example:
In-World-Markers & Player Names:
I would like to have an option to activate/deactivate specific In-World markers. Like This:
Show HUD Player markers: All, Friendly Only, Enemy Only, None
Show HUD Objective Markers: All, Attack Only, Defend Only, None
Show Player Names: All, Friendly Only, Enemy Only, None
Show HUD Target Distance Meter: Always, Out of Range Only, Never
Furthermore there should be sliders to adjust the markers´ size and translucency, and settings to define how and when certain markers appear, and when they fade out. For example:
- HUD Objective Marker Visibility: Always On, Offscreen Indicator Only
Cockpit Radar:
When you get a warning of being targeted or being locked on, it would be nice, if the cockpit radar would give you an indication (brightly shiningor blinking orange dots for example) where the lock is coming from.
Mines & Repair kits:
These should get red and green flashing lights, so that you are able to see them even with those large In-World marker rings disabled.
