DirectX error missing vendor specific drivers

Hi

I just installed battlefront. I started the game but there came an error notification: Failed to initialize display adapter. Please ensure your video card is compatible and the drivers for it installed. Usually this is a result of missing vendor specific drivers.

I don't know what to do. I use a HP Probook 4720s windows 7 but I don't know which video card this laptop uses.

I don't want to change the video card or the laptop unless it's the only solution

Thanks for helping!

    Hi EA_David

I've installed AMD autodetect and it installed the right software for my video card.

@florkelogg687 Hey, if you're still about, what did you do? The more info we have, the more we can help other folks in future.

At a guess it sounds like your system was trying to use the low-power onboard chipset and not the discrete graphics card, but I'd be interested to know if this is accurate.

    Thanks.
