    I fixed it. It appears turning off crossplay fixed the issue. It is still a bug i guess.

I had this issue as well. I purchased it originally through Origin. Had to eventually buy through Steam. However, now I am not seeing a login screen for EA, so since I can't log in to my EA account, I cant play online.
