Solved by re-installing the graphic card drivers via Control Panel -> Device Manager
when i went into the control panel/device manager, it tells me that the drivers are up to date. I also have a win 7 ultimate 64 bit os. I have a ASUS Strix oc 4GB gddr5 geforce gtx 960 graphics card.
I just got rid of this one today. I hadn't opened Origin for some time but today it wouldn't work. Found several things to do but the only thing got rid of it was to download and install C++ Redistributable packages 2015. Windows 10, Latest updates. If anyone is still having the issue.
i am using win 10 home 64bit.... this error suddenly come up in my origin, i dont know how to fix that..... anybody can help me??

this error can have a lot of root causes - please provide a DxDiag file (here's how) that I can take a look into, that should help to narrow down the culprit here. Feel free to tag me once it's done.
