Flight controls

Just putting this out there. Is anyone having trouble getting to grips with the flight controls. It would be nice if the aviator setting controlled all aspects of roll pitch and yaw the same as an aircraft flies instead of two separate sticks.

  • Seems like a HOTAS joystick is your solution! I have the Thrustmaster Hotas X on Xbox and it works great. Although I’m not sure that it’s really competitive, it’s definitely fun to use.

  • How about changing your setting files? 🤔

I mean... you can see the setting file "ProfileOptions_profile_synced" in your document folder.

    ( Document\STAR WARS Squadrons\settings )

So, logically you can set up that for your own Flight Gears.

Am I wrong, EA people? 😳

  • Cheers, unfortunately I am playing on a PS4 so I don’t think you can do that. I might be wrong but would not have a clue what to do 😁

Hey @SteveC102 I struggled with the controls myself at first but finally got used to it after playing through the whole story mode, and using the practice mode to fly around.

Thank you, it seems I might have to buy one but they are pretty hard to get hold of at the moment.

Could also be because there is a new MS Flight sim as well 🙁
