How to play in VR Mode (Origin version) ?

I have the version of origin. how do you play in VR with this version?

after enable the "VR toggle" into the game i see the Game in VR into the headset, but the game play only with the keyboard an mouse and not with the gamepad of Oculus quest, It's also possible to play with the gamepad? this version has the full support for the controller as the steam version? thanks

  • No, VR controllers are not supported. It's recommended to use a HOTAS, HOSAS, Joystick or Yoke setup instead, but you can use a regular gamepad as well. In theory, you might be able to use third party software to emulate a regular gamepad with the VR controllers, but I'm not sure if there is such a thing.

Only this Origin version does not support the VR controllers or also the steam version? if the steam version supports VR controllers I will buy it back on steam. And the Origin version support VR? Do i need to add the game as a non-steam game to be able to start SteamVR?  Thank you

Squadrons dont support VR controllers and to start the game in VR mode you need to use Steam Vr to do that. @boundles

Yes, start Steam Vr and then start the game on Origin. @boundles

  • It's not working for me. What's the issue with this? 2042 Darren's team VR doesn't work. Arculus freaking link doesn't work with it. Nothing works with it. The only game that doesn't work. Maybe frustrating to be the only one that seemed to have this issue.
