Invisible/Missing BD-1 (GAME BREAKING)

Summarize your bug after finishing the prison mission after chapter 3 when BD-1 is suppose to join you it doesn't appear on you back or at all throughout and after the mission. This bug is game breaking since you can't progress in chapter 4 without BD-1.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? it happened for me in the prison mission at the very end of chapter 3 when he is suppose to appear he doesn't and won't appear after that at all even though i tried resting and restarting the game numerous times.
What happens when the bug occurs? BD-1 seems to be invisible and all functions involving it won't work except for hearing it's voice lines sometimes and searching trough normal chests.
What do you expect to see? a hot-fix or patch to fix this game breaking bug.
