Missing TWCS Throttle in controllers

Hmm, it seems that "Full HOTAS Support" didn't include the Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle ☹️

A bit of as bummer that my throttle is not listed in the devides in controller settings. Any way to get around this?!

  • T. Flight Hotas PS3 also doesn't appear as a controller under the controller settings.

EA, where's the promised HOTAS support?

  • I have the full T16000M FCS flight kit with TWCS throttle.
    Everything works fine.

Are you plugging in the HOTAS BEFORE starting the game up?
Devs have stated that to use HOTAS, it must be plugged in before you start the game.

  • @Wilhuf I have the exact same problem with my hotas x/ ps3. It also detects the rocker on the throttle as the pitch axis so I can't even map the throttle to that. I'll have to return this game if there is no fix, not buying a new HOTAS when mine is perfectly fine.

@HADDAWAY2000a 'workaround' that doesn't truly work is to use joytokey software and map the throttle to keyboard keys that correspond with accelerate/decelerate (w and s). It still doesn't work properly because when I'm accelerating or decelerating, the pitch, yaw and roll controls freeze.

    UGH!

  • @ebe-a51 for my part, I confirmed my HOTAS was operational and calibrated with the operating system before running the game.
  • I have the t16000m complete set and am unable to bind the roll to my rudder pedals. it used to be bound to my flight stick twist but that only works one way since trying to change the setting. they should have better control settings and keyboard command documentation. I can't even find a folder for the game in steam to search for one. i'm going to keep at it though. I want to enjoy this game.
