Mouse button presses not responding

Product: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Mouse clicks not registering in-game
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Test using a mouse and keyboard instead of a game pad
What happens when the bug occurs? Mouse clicking (left or right) in-game doesn't register, which means that I cannot use my mouse to do anything. This includes (but is not limited to) customizing my lightsaber and fighting.
What do you expect to see? I expect mouse buttons to actually work.

The fun begins right after the game has loaded into the main menu. I cannot press any of the choices there (choices like "Continue", "Load Journey" and "Quit"). I have to press Spacebar to continue my game.

Once the saved game has been loaded, I can move around and use my mouse movements to navigate, but I still cannot do anything with my mouse buttons. If I try to customize my lightsaber, there's no response. If I meditate and attempt to adjust my skill points, no go.

I can, however, use the mouse buttons in the menu I get when I press Escape. So I am able to customize the Cal, BD-1 and the Mantis, and I can browse my settings, and even quit the game from there. This leads me to believe that the game is able to register the button presses, but something on the software level is blocking them for some reason.

I have checked the key mappings to make sure that LMB and RMB are still being used, and they are. I also don't have a game pad plugged in, so there's nothing that should be "overriding" the input channel.

The game worked fine last time I played yesterday. It only started today, presumably after installing the latest patch.

    I'll amend my statement about it interfering with combat - it does not. The reason I wasn't able to activate my lightsaber is because I spawned on board the Mantis. This seems to be an issue related to GUI, then.

    I'm having the same problem. Mouse clicks don't work in most menus anymore. That includes the main menu, The meditation screen and also lightsaber customization, where I can rotate the saber as usual by holding the button, but can't click any options there anymore...

    This is really, really annoying.

    Awesome. Want fix. Could you maybe also implement a WALK button real fast? Pretty please with cherry on top.

    Same problem more or less. If I deliberately and heavily click the mouse, for some reason it works. It's when I am casually and rhythmically pressing keys and mouse presses that the game just starts failing to respond. Only when I mash on the mouse button out of sync does it respond. Last update has made the game almost unplayable for me in this respect. Tearing out my hair on what this could possible be besides EA's side of the fence.
