What happens when the bug occurs? When the mouse Y axis is inverted, attempting to pitch up will show an indicator that you are pitching down and vice versa. i.e. the indicator follows the mouse offset rather than pointing the direction the ship is vertically turning.
What do you expect to see? Indicator should show where the ship is heading, not where the mouse is.

I'm not sure if this is by design or not. Regardless, it would be great if there was at least an option to have this work the way I would expect it to.
Currently if I try to use the inverted mouse option I find it impossible to aim and navigate due to the onscreen indicator pointing the (vertically) opposite direction to where I expect it to go.
I can currently sort of cope without inverting the Y axis in that I can at least aim (badly). However if I suddenly need to pull up my brain can't seem to break the habit of a lifetime and I end up flying directly into whatever I was trying to avoid.
At this point I would even settle for being able to disable the mouse flight direction indicator.
