Non-Energy Based Projectile Weapons

Hi guys, just wondering if the devs are interested in making more New Content?

Are there any Non-Energy Based Projectile Weapons in Star Wars Lore that could be added in?

Are there Autocannons or machine guns, stuff like that?

    It's not befitting the Star Wars lore. That's why shields are even a thing in Star Wars because all projectiles are essentially energy based. If bullets existed, what good would a triple layer shield system on the Mon Calamari cruiser be?
