I want to install the latest update on my ps4, sadly whenever I try I get a message saying
"Cannot download.
To download the content, you must delete unnecessary content from system storage."
I assume it's not a HDD space issue since I have 44GB left of unused space.
WHAT IS CAUSING THIS AND HOW DO I FIX IT??
@CatnipNapkin You can try restarting your system (a full shutdown and restart, not just rest mode) and checking for system updates, but I suspect you'll just need to clear the space.
I'm not too sure of the specifics of how the update is applied but in some cases you need double the space of a game to install it. As the game is over 44GB at this point you may need that much space to apply the update.
