if you're encountering this error, could you try the following:

- Clear the Origin Cache - here's how you do this

- Reinstall Origin / Update to Beta version (Origin -> Application Settings -> Participate in Origin client betas)

- Run Origin as admin

- Try to enable safe mode downloading (Origin -> Application Settings -> Diagnostics -> Safe mode downloading)
