Sorry, i forgot the exact error was already in the original post
The dxdiag lists panda is crashing previously , has this been occuring at the same time as battlefront ?
if you press the windows key and type reliability , open the reliability history is there any further indications of things occurring beside battlefront ?
What is listed, if you double click on a entry it provides further details
Have you tried reverting to 362.00 nvidia driver just to tick that off at all, couldn't see it on things you have tried.

I have not noticed panda crashing at all.
The reliability history mentions PSUAmain crashing about 2 minutes after battlefront does. Wouldnt know what to do with the details, its just a bunch of numbers and letters, would you need that info?
Also, i just tried reverting to Nvidia 362.00 driver with no result.

It may also be worth mentioning the game randomly managed to launch the other day, but after shutdown and startup later that day the same error popped up again. I havent been able to launch it anymore since
Hi ,@proxos666 ,@Nodoubt42
The situation is very uncertain and most likely has to do with OS( operating system , administrator rights , compatibility all together and none actually 🤓 it's just a weird error ) and it not has to do with Origin in Game or ingame overlays running etc etc
Hi @Nodoubt42 look here to resolve your issue http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/DirectX-Error-on-startup-of-SW-BF/m-p/5332951#U5332951

So I just fixed the issue for me.
Had the exact same error message with a GTX 970.
I uninstalled curse and it seemed to run just fine.
Uninstall or disable any other programs with overlays (i.e. origin overlay, curse, etc.)
Until the next nVidia driver comes out I'd keep these programs disabled.
Yes I have also seen reports of curse overlay causing this error , glad to hear you have found your solution.
When they got you to do a clean boot it was as per this link ?
Edit - have you uninstalled panda as a test to make sure it isn't related to this issue ?

Wonnderful, thanks for another entry in the big "Confirmed" ledger @Uccello2

Yep that works and thx for the fix, but a less extreme method is to open Curse, go to Settings -> In-Game and disable the Star Wars Battlefront In-Game Overlay.
^ That's what I did. I wasn't sure if it was a Curse, Battlefront, or Nvidia update that broke overlay compatibility, but from what I'm seeing here it looks like it was Nvidia. Let's hope this gets fixed, because I enjoy having the overlay in-game!
