Hello @ShutUpNazeem
Can I suggest you to try to turn off Origin in Game for Star Wars: Battlefront? You can do it in the game Properties menu in Origin Library. Let me know if it helps.
Cheers,
Archi

@EA_Arch
Your solution worked for me!
I'm using Corsair K70 keyboard paired with a Razer Deathadder with no other USB devices attached.
FYI I had the same issues as the OP; The keyboard was unresponsive in the menus and in the game itself, while the mouse was responsive in the menus but totally unresponsive once the match had started (i.e. I could click to pick faction etc., but once spawned could not free-look at all). I might add that this issue only occurred when I loaded up to play the game yesterday after a 4-month-ish break from playing it (and it used to work just fine).
Thought I'd just post to say thanks 🙂

@br0w Does disabling Origin In Game help for you?
If so, try a clean boot. Normally issues like this are caused by conflicts with 3rd party software, so turning off anything extra may help. Your solution didnt work for me, have any other tips?

Hello @1cyIsak
So you have turned off Origin in Game in Star Wars Battlefront properties menu and it does not resolved this issue? What kind on keyboard you are using? Maybe you need to update it`s drivers?
Disabeling Origin in game worked for me! Thanks!

Thanks for the update, @JerrySwitalski.
@Tirredcz Hopefully that older step won't be needed, the last post was almost a year ago, but it might prove helpful.

The solution of disabling "Origin in Game" worked for me. However I now don't have access to any of my extra content. Any alternatives that will still let me play the expansions I purchased?

@websterrm Hi, I suspect the issues are unrelated, but generally the OIG issue is due to conflicts with other overlay software. If you disable anything else with an overlay, or just start with a Clean Boot, that may help.

However as mentioned, It appears to be a separate issue. Can you try redownloading the relevant content from the Origin store, do you have the option to do this?
Thanks. - Anonymous8 years ago
Hi,
That old thread is indeed still needed... I tried different solutions (deactivated overlay, opened hardware management under windows, clean boot) and still can't play with my keyboard/mouse. For a 80€ deluxe edition this sure is disappointing. Did you collect more intel on that matter ? Did someone found a solution yet ?

exiting TeamViewer via its systray menu helped me
- I have the same problem with Battlefront II. I have spent several hours on this. I’m to the point I want my money back for the game. When I get into the game, keyboard and mouse are not recognized at all. I use windows key to get back to desktop. My mouse and keyboard work in any and every other game so it’s isolayed to solely Batttlefront II. I have gone as far as doing a clean install of windows and installing only origin and battlefront II.

Thank you @condor667 !!!! I haven't been able to play at all, with no response from mouse or keyboard. Quitting Teamviewer did the trick for me as well.

Thanks a lot, this totally worked for me. thumb up
Quitting TeamViewer worked for me as well. Thanks!
I use a Razer mouse and keyboard. I tried updating Windows, the Nvidia drivers and the Razer software. I was just about to uninstall BF and decided to search for an answer and found this thread. Turning off the In Game in Origin was the answer. Thank you.
