I just tried and that didnt change anything ;( Also Event viewer mentions nothing SWBF or origin related.

and i  re-downloaded and reinstalled the game many times on different disks and always same *

So, no more support replies?  Did i just spent money for a game i can't play?? Great!

Same goes for me nothing fixes it and no answer from EA to even say its an issue

Yeah, It's fantastic..  Really thrilled.  If they don't get this fixed soon..

Since this is an obscure bug that only happens for a few users so far I would advice you to upload an attached dxdiag so EA can see if there's anything in common for the people affected.

Okay, I have a bit of a break-through.  I've logged in on my account on my friends computer; and it works..  I see text, everything is fine..

So this is clearly something on OUR side.  Any ideas now that we've discovered that?

Well, that rules out that there's something wrong with your account on EA's side and your friends computer, everything else is still there, including whatever on your computer could cause this bug.

Do people have the latest graphics drivers?

If people use AMD they just released a SWBF updated driver right before the game was released. Again, uploading a dxdiag here is a great idea.

Same problem here's me dx.

I'm on nVidia and i've got the latest.  Here's my dxdiag also.

Here is my DxDiag

So, from quickly going over the pool of 3 dxdiags before I go to bed I can see the following things in common:

• Windows 10 which isn't updated to the latest build
• Nvidia graphics cards
• Some weird crashes

From that I would suggest the following:

• Reinstall DirectX
• Update your Windows
• Don't run in SLI
• Reboot your computers

• Check Windows for Errors
  

  A broken Windows Installation can cause all kinds of trouble. To scan your Windows installation for errors open a command prompt with admin rights and run the command: "sfc /scannow". A more detailed guide on how to do this can be found here:

I don't run SLI, but i'll do everything else.  Not sure it'll work though

Sweet! Nice work finding this and sharing with us all. So this a result of the Windows 7 to 10 upgrade? Funny it wasn't found during Beta and released as a heads up. Oh well, time to play. Thanks again!

I have found that this is particularly an origin interaction bug, the overlay screws the in game menu text.

My resolution when it happens is to shut down the gam, shut down origin, with the three fingered salute (C+A+D) , not to enable cloud sync, cos it bugs out. and restart the game using the icon and ignore origin altogether. This is the kind of problem steam would have.

I followed the steps and despite all it doesn't for me, I have no text font/letters any more. ☹️
