Someone wrote this tutorial that basically covers the basics:
I skipped step 3 (Axis 1:1 remap), that wasnt needed for me. I just did "Remap". (maybe i have a different version of JoystickGremlin and name changed, not sure?"
@Straatford87 is there any update on when this will be addressed?
Same Issue, PC Version played with Xbox360 controller.
I also tested calibrating my controller inputs so full right and full downright had the same amount of 'x axis' input, and same with 'y axis'.
So, typically the input range in numbers goes from 0 to 65,000 or so, but when you're in the far right corners, the x input is only about 57000, and in the far left corners, the x input is about 11000. So I calibrated my controller to have an input range of 11000 to 57000, so when full right, it was 57000, and in one of the right corners, it was still at 57000.
However, the game still put only half the x axis input into the actual roll command. This suggests this is something to do with how the software interprets joint x and y inputs.Good experimenting!
I can’t believe they released without catching this one, it’s unplayable.
I can’t use the default (who plays a flight game with roll on a different stick?!)
