Re: STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT not starting (help)

Hi @LemonDrug

Ensure that your Firewall and/or Antivirus are not blocking the connection. The easiest way would be adding an exception for the Origin Client.
You need to do this add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports http://help.ea.com/en/article/connection-issues-with-origin/#1

Clear Origin cache and for this you get a perfectly detailed post from @EA_Nils >>http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/my-origin-will-not-update-my-sims-4/m-p/4721983#M163410

Restart your PC.

Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2 .Now go in Origin / My Games tab right click on game icon Star Wars:Battlefront select Repair Game then Check for Updates.

NOTE if your issue persist you need to perform a Clean Boot: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc

@LemonDrug your game it's work now?

    DO NOT DELETE: C:\ProgramData\Origin\LocalContent

Deleting the folders- C:\ProgramData\Origin ,Origin folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ ,Origin folder in C:\Users\ <username> \AppData\Roaming\ , does not affect your games.

Restart your pc and try again .

If your issue persist ,I think you need to delete your game and to download it again.🤨

    Ok @LemonDrug

I think you need to perform a  SFC /SCANNOW

    Then update your drivers http://help.ea.com/en/article/finding-devices-and-updating-drivers/

After that, depending on what search engine use:

-resetting your Internet Explorer settings: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737?

Open Internet Explorer and clicked the little gear wheel in the top right corner of the browser.
    -click Internet Options
    -click Security Tab
    -click Trusted Sites
-click Sites in the little box
A window popped up and had the Origin web address in the 'add this website to the zone' box.
    -click Add
    -click Close

    Or/ and

    -resetting your Chrome https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en

-there are the steps on how you can add a site to the list of trusted sites.
-click the Chrome Menu icon on the far right of the Address bar.
-click on Settings, scroll to the bottom and click the Show Advanced Settings link.
-click on Change proxy settings (under Network)
-click the Security tab > Trusted Sites icon, then click Sites.
Enter the URL of your Trusted Site, then click Add.
    -click Close > OK.

    Restart your machine.

Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights  http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2

It still doesn't work, but now i remember something, at first i played beta, and when game was released i installed it ( i didn't delete beta) and game worked fine, but after i deleted beta( because i thought it's useless now because i have a full game) it stopped working, maybe this is why it doesn't work? Plz help

Has anyone found an answer on this yet`I´m still struggling, after having chatted with 2 ea support workers, re-installing the game about 5 times and all the things support named me.
