Re: Star Wars Jedi origin access??

My assumption here (and I would LOVE to be corrected) is that they CAN'T commit to it being available at launch yet, and it is likely due to licencing rights between EA, Respawn, LucasArts, and the high overlord's Disney (nothing against them, just, they are the owners of all we nerds love now). Something about how much they need to pay others will restrict it. Right now, I can see a pre-order option with only the 10% discount that basic gets.

Hopefully something works out, and at the very least, Premier should get us a much greater discount (50%?) PLUS all the same perks (early access etc). EA are becoming the publisher that listens to gamers (Re-dev of Battlefield, removing micro-transactions, tailoring content and subscription service) as opposed to others who just churn out their AAA titles to make more $$$. I want them to succeed with this!!!

EA already paid Disney for the star wars license so it's theirs to do as they wish so it should come on Premier just like the Battlefront games and FIFA games, both of which EA has already paid for the licenses of.

I find it troublesome that we did not receive official confirmation that it is going to be included. I'm going to cancel my sub until we have clarity on that matter. 

Or is it possible that the Origin acces doesn't work when it comes to single player games and they dont know what to do ? we pay monthly so whats to stop someone just getting 1 months subscription to play it and cancelling , the model they are working with only works for multiplayer games and they are not going to tell us we aint getting it because they know alot of people are going to cancel their subs .

Hey there,

I've asked the team if they could add the "Premier" logo to the game page. This is normally done closer to the launch date of new games.

I do want to take this opportunity to reaffirm that Origin Access Premier subscribers can play the deluxe edition of the game at launch.

So for Xbox users with ea access it won't be possible to play the game without buying it?

As far as I know ea access doesn't have a premium feature, like on pc.

We've opted not to have early access for this title, in part to reduce the risk of story spoilers.

You are also correct in that EA Access for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will not include the full game. That's currently only available via Origin Access Premier, which is PC only.

Yes, it will be. See my previous comment in this thread, here.

With that said, I am aware the Premier logo isn't yet available on the Origin Store for this title, and I've previously requested for that to be added. We've hit a small delay with that, but it's still incoming. That should clarify for other players checking for this info on the Origin Store.

that is so nice to hear i only still have a quastion will it be for basic and premier or only for premier?
