Same issue with failed load after installing latest patch.

Origin Client

Had no issues loading prior to patch

Unsuccessful fixes:

• Squadrons repair
• Squadrons uninstall/reinstall
• Origin Client uninstall/reinstall
• .net framework update
• C++ uninstall/reinstall
• NVIDIA drivers are up to date
• All Windows 10 updates installed
• Whitelisted EasyCheat with Webroot AV
•  

Unable to upload log files into this thread because .CSV, .ZIP, .XML, and .PML files are not supported.

Same problem as those in here. I usually get the message "Launch Error: Failed to start the game." Origin then automatically tries to start the game again with the same result.

The games in EAC are numbered, i didn't know which one was for SWS, so i included them all.

I have also noticed that the EAC logfiles are encrypted, so you might need to contact EAC in order to decrypt them.

Please do as EA_tom asked and upload the log files (you can use google drive).
Just zip the contents of %APPDATA%/EasyAntiCheat
Then add to that zip the output from https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/logs/

Let's help them solve this thing once and for all!

Update:

NVIDIA released an updated driver.

Game still fails to load, but there is now an error screen indicating a missing .dll file. (see attached)

I've been unable to play Squadrons now since it updated earlier this week.  When I attempt to launch the game I see a window that states "Launch Error Failed to start the game", and there is a blue exit button displayed on the window (I've attached a screenshot of the window).  In the file C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat\gamelauncher.log I have the following:

I uninstalled and then reinstalled the game but I'm still seeing the same error.

Also, please note that if your issue did not start out exactly as described (i.e. if you are getting an error message, black screen, etc...), then you are not in the correct thread.

doenst look like were gona get annything for a while, EAC recommends a fresh reboot, but i would rather not

Had the same issue and was funny to say I found the solution:

There are 2 loading screens for the EasyAntiCheating - while the 2nd screen finish loading, tap "Enter" and it should work. CRAZY

@Straatford87 @EA_Tom , this game has been sitting in my steam library for 2 months now, i have  "played" 92 minutes trying to start it up. can we AT LEAST get an update on how the bug fixes are progressing? or if you guys are working on it at all? it feels as if EA just doesnt seem to care. its been a month since the last official reply, and id like to play the game that i bought 2 months ago

I've already given up on playing this, uninstalled this as it is a waste of SSD space and a waste of money...

Such a shame, really, i have many friends in the simming and space combat communities who would love to play it, but don't want to waste money on a game that doesn't work.

For those that are experiencing this problem right now, perhaps it's the same bug I experienced yesterday: Easy Anti-Cheat Error starting Squadrons: Untrusted System File vrclient_x64.dll - Answer HQ

As a workaround, try to install/update/uninstall and reinstall SteamVR (free on Steam) and see if that helps (yes, even if you don't have any VR hardware - for some reason Easy Anti-Cheat has had a problem when the SteamVR vrclient_x64.dll is missing and/or outdated since yesterday). That workaround worked for me.

I was having this same issue. I was using Steam. I did the following but do not know for certain if it is why I can now play without issue. 
I noticed my OS drive had less than 7 GB free so freed up about 29 GB. I also shut off Windows Defender and installed AVG. Again, I do not know if either of these actions affected my inability to get the game to work, but the game has started after repeated attempts without issue. 

@EA_Ericsorry for the random ping, but it seems @EA_Stafford and @EA_Tom do not exist anymore...
Can you please have someone look at this issue? All of us can't launch the game at all.

ive got it working. For everyone who's having this problem, you HAVE to do a full reset of your pc. why or how, i dont know, but reset +reinstall windows form pc worked. my gam just launched, so ima enjoy a game of SW squadrons. as far as i know, there is NO other way to help out with this problem, and believe me, ive looked far and wide...
