Re: XBox Controllers on PC Not Working for Jedi: Fallen Order

I should add that I've now checked 3 other games, and the controllers are all functioning properly. The controllers are XBox One, Elite, and Elite 2, wireless and wired. The games included in my test are Red Dead Redemption 2, Ace Combat 7, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

  • Are you getting no function at all or just not working properly? I have the game on Origin and an Xbox One Controller wirelessly connected and it works fine. However in the menu's it doesn't. Just goes to the first Options 'button' and can't select any other option. But I discovered it's because I'm using a 21:9 ultrawidescreen monitor. When I went to my 4K tv (which is 16:9) it worked fine in the menus. Apart from that I can't really say, sorry.

The right and left sticks work once controlling Cal, but nothing else. Strange that the screen resolution would have any effect on the use of buttons in the menu for you. For me, the sticks function in the menu after I‘ve loaded a game, but still no A X B Y LT RT RB LB or Dpad. Sword fighting with a keyboard mouse feels so janky......

  • Same issue here and I can't imagine which other troubleshooting steps I'd take. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, removed and reinstalled the controller. Tested the controller on NFS and Anthem and not a single problem, In Jedi just the sticks work nothing else.
