If you want to to spin it you can press the button you use to turn the double-bladed lightsaber while the double-bladed lightsaber is on. You also must be in combat to spin it.
There is also an attack where cal spins the double-bladed lightsaber around him to defend himeself this can be unlocked in the skill tree and you press Y Y for that
i use the LP..Yes i see that the spinning is active only for block blasters
