I just purchased Squadrons and for almost two hours of VR game play it worked fantastic (I use a keyboard and mouse) as controls.  Then all of a sudden the game starts spiraling to the the left with no way to stop it as if I was using the mouse to move left as fast as possible.

If I switch to using my monitor, everything works perfectly.  If I switch back to VR I spiral to the left non stop.

Steam, Oculus, and EA are all pointing fingers at each other.

I've tried different keyboard and mouse (bluetooth and wired) same issue.  I've tried Quest2 and Rift, same issue.  I've completely uninstalled everything (Oculus app, Steam, Steam VR and Squadrons) same issue.

I factory reset both VR headsets, same issue.

I need help!  Paid for a game that isn't playable at the moment.

  • Same issue here: mouse works fine on standard screen, but with VR (Quest 2) the mouse remains fixed in a specific screen region, e.g., upper left. Ship drifts that direction, and when you try to centre it, or move it right, mouse only goes so far, not even past the midpoint. Ship cannot be controlled. Region where it gets sequestered appears to be random – sometimes you can't go left, or right, or up, or down. Unplayable. Yes, and spent hours trying to fix it, so I'm out of my 2-hour window for a refund.

    Fix please.

    I found a solution finally.

In my case, just changing PC screen to windowed from full screen solved this problem.

I don't know why and what's the connection between PC full screen mode and VR, but problem solved anyway.

I hope this info helps you guys.

Don’t worry.  After hours on tech support with EA they explained that this is simply tough luck.  No fix, just deal with it.

  • i just paused and unpaused it fixed it for me exept my  problem is my mouse keeps clicking off screen

  • I have the exact same issue and cannot find a fix for this. Considering a refund.
