Star Wars: Battlefront - Pre-Launch questions

Will star wars battlefront have splitscreen? In the old games that let me and my brother play together, one of the best things about the serisis. So will this one have splitscreen? Please include ...

    The Star Wars games have not been a direct part of EA's game stable.  Atari had all of the contracts up until SWTOR.  Disney had not expressed interest in the older LucasArts games, either, and AHQ hasn't previously included separate forums for the SWTOR MMO, since the Self-Help Forums haven't been closed there.  

    I would think that Bioware's (or DICE's) forums would be a more appropriate place for general Star Wars discussion, now that the situation appears to be changing, but there is still a SW/BF-2 forum available at LucasArts:
