Solved

Star Wars Battlefront Beta can't press enter on start screen NVIDIA

I thave the same issue like the guy in the following post:

http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Star-Wars-Battlefront-Beta-Wont-Advance-Past-Start-Screen/m-p/4850468#U4850468

I can't press any key, but the fighters keep flying around on the start screen. I already set my NVIDIA card to run the game, but still get an error saying that intel drivers have to be updated. The game still runs, but I can't press enter.

Thanks in advance!

Well it's a bit late but i solved it by disabling the UEFI Secure Boot in my BIOS. It works fine for me now!

  • This worked for me on Windows 8.1 (although it is irritating, because you have to do it every time):

    1. Open Battlefront

    2. ALT+TAB

    3. Open "My Computer" or "This PC"

    4. On the top right of the window there is a small arrow pointing down (next to the "Help" question mark), click that

    5. Click on "Manage"

    6. Open Device Manager

    7. Find "Keyboards"

    8. Right-click on the keyboard you want to use and press "Properties"

    9. Go kill some Rebels/Imps and remember not to recommend this Call of Duty game to your friends.

For anyone who is attempting to avoid meeting the game's requirements, and follows those instructions, forcing an underpowered device to run way above its designed threshold, you are gambling on burning it out!  The forum experts do NOT support any such advice!

IF you have a lazy nVIDIA Optimus mobile device that ought to work, such as a GTX 780m, that is another matter entirely.
