Most of those have inadequate video hardware, but with Bootcamp and a copy of Windows, a few of them certainly can play the game.  The hardware requirements are these:

    Recommended PC System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
        Processor (Intel): Intel i5 6600 or equivalent (3.3 / 3.9 GHz)
        Memory: 16GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

  • Apple keeps fitting weak graphic cards (in relation to 3d gaming performance) in otherwise fine machines. iMacs, for example, have laptop graphics chips and only the most upgraded latest model has 4Gb of graphics RAM, the rest have 2Gb. And these are mobile processors of course, so have fewer cores to meet the heavy demands of a game such as this.

Triple A game producers like EA are not the only ones avoiding developing for the platform. Blizzard, a particularly Mac friendly developer, aren't releasing their latest game for Mac as of this date either.

The fact is, Apple don't take gaming seriously on OSX in the same way they do on iOS. We can lament that fact, but while Apple see fit to use mobile chips in desktops that situation is not going to improve any time soon.

Buy the game on Origin. Try running the game in Windows 10 under boot camp, if it will not run then use Origin's Great Game Guarantee to get a refund.

If all else fails, the alternatives are to get one of the latest generation of consoles (PS4 or Xbox One) or build a gaming PC.

You are getting more games on Mac than ever before, so the developers are not to blame. The fault in this instance lies squarely with Apple for not providing the graphics cards necessary to drive the 3d graphics at the quality people expect in a modern triple A game.
