Right. Its not a driver issue.
Also, after uninstalling Star Wars Battlefront, CCLEANER and reboot, when I attempted a fresh download of Battlefront but it stopped at 52%, then my internet connection dropped out.
Also. for those of you who are going to claim that I have third party security software impeding my connection to origin, think again. Because It was working intermittently at times.
And when I completely disabled my security software it didn't matter, Origin won't connect and Battlefront won't download beyond 52%. So you're wrong.
Once I managed to get my internet connection back up, Origin refused to go Online and I could not continue downloading Battlefront beyond 52%. Clicking the 'Go Online' buttons or links (or whatever they are O_o) inside the client are a waste of time. The buttons don't work. So I tried signing in through the web site because I read somewhere that it helps the client see that you are 'online' but that didn't make a difference.
This time, the only way to get the Origin client back online was to cancel the download and completely wipe origin and all of its games. Rebooting the cable modem and router were not resolving issue.
Nowwww, I can connect to Origin through the client. ? WTF !!!!!
Now I'm trying to download battlefront one more time. I also have in excess of 80GB free on my Origin drive.
I'm PISSED!
Also, I've been trying to connect to 'CHAT' for a week. I've been testing connecting to chat during the day when you would think they would have employees available. Nope! No one ever picks up the chat. I'm sure if I got up and walked away from the computer, some tech at EA would pick up and try to talk to me. Of course, me not being at the keyboard, they would give me only a few seconds to run back to the keyboard and terminate the chat. I'm not happy about this.
