Same issue here. I've been trying HDR and it looks washed out. Blacks look greyish. When I turn off HDR colors look more vibrant but dark areas look bad. Other games look good. This is my configuration:
CPU: i9 9900KF
GPU: RTX 2070 Super (Driver 441.87)
RAM: 32 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200
Screen: Gigabyte Aorus ad27qd
Resolution: 2560 x 1440 native
Display port used with 10 bit colors set

Any news on this topic? I also experience a lot lags during the game.
Sometimes it even freezes completely.

I was expecting that the issue was going to be solved with the last update but it wasn't. I just made a custom profile in my monitor to play this game at decent colors.

The colours are washed out because of hdmi 2.0 limitations. 4K hdr works only with yuv colour space. To have a full rgb colour space with hdr you need to change res to 1080p. The game looks as it should in full rgb hdr.
- 6 years ago@Xyntek01 As far as i was aware, HDR won't work with a DVI connection. Needs to be displayport 1.4 or above, or HDMI 2.0 or above. DVI cables can't carry the data rates required for 10 bit colour.
Unless i've misunderstood it?- 6 years ago@vaux2 yes, you are right and thanks for the correction. I'm not using DVI, I'm using DP with 10 bit colors. DVI was my old monitor. Still HDR doesn't work correctly, I prefer to turn it off. I'm starting to think that is more of how the game is made. HDR in Sekiro of meh, in DMC5 sucks very hard, but in Forza Horizon 4 works great.
