Star Wars squadron Failed to launch and Untrusted errors

Recently reinstalled Squadrons receive these messages on every boot
 "The application was unable to start correctly (oxc0000142). 
   Click OK to close the application" 

"Untrusted system file 9C:\Windows\system32\msvcr120.dll)

I've tried re installing through both origin and EA, as well as repairing the files. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    @JAYdotTEEdot Same issue, haven't played in ages, tried yesterday and getting the exact messages. Did a lot of searching on the internet for a solution and one I found that said to delete the certificates folder in the Easy Anti Cheat folder of the game. It actually launched the game after that. Haven't played yet but I got into the game after trying for so long. Hope this works for you

    @JAYdotTEEdot To confirm do you have anything else connected via USB aside from the M&K? If not can you try to repair Easy Anti-cheat?

    Got the game today via the Epic store.

    I have this exact issue. Tried all possible troubleshooting suggested. I can't launch the game.

    Reinstalled and repaired the game, c++, EAC

    Nothing is working.

    Issues has yet to be resolved for me. the work around @BobbyB02 posted lets the game boot up bout obviously wont allow me to connect online. 
    pretty frustrating. guess nothing I sumbitted was much help to @EA_Illium  either.
