Star Wars: Squadrons - Petition for DLC

See my thinking is that DLC means pay to play content. Is it possible that they will continue to provide new maps and additional content like they have with BF2 since it's release? 

Otherwise, I agree. If there is an expansion pack or season pass once a year with new content... maps, ships, modes, then sure... I'll give $30 for that a year. Hell I already do it with Destiny.

They need to fix the bugs before anyone starts begging to throw more money at them.

I certainly want to see much more. At the very least the B-Wing and some Imp equivalent (or not? I don't care).
But first fix bugs and the ranking system.

Then I'm willing to pay a yearly pass to pay for the servers and keep the game going forever.

Game could be amazing, but with 3 only 3 maps, that are the same across the only 2 game modes, a broken ranking system, terrible servicers and matchmaking, full of bugs it makes it very hard to recommend to friends. Literally 2 out of 3 games there's a missing person because it randomly kicks people including myself, so then everyone has to stay in the game for a few minutes till its safe to quit, then start a new one and repeat. Can take 10 15 minutes to find an actual game sometimes. Also it kind of sucks there's only one ship option per class, 2 or 3 would be cool even if they just looked different. Also how's it gonna be the long sought after starfighter dogfight games many have been waiting for and you cant even customize your r2 unit? There's just so much more they could do with the games, like say a racing mode. Now I'm not fiending for racing or anything but how easy would that have been to throw something like that in to give more options. Overall this game desperately needs.

Better matchmaking( if one leaves in the beginning, please put all players back in to matchmaking, so they don't have to wait, quit, then join a new game over and over)

Fix bugs (especially where it kicks 1 person out of game in beginning)

And maybe just a little love, throw some cool stuff in, actually care about your game and not just shove it out asap to make money, make your customers happy PLEASE.

This is gonna be the last straw for EA for a lot of gamers including myself if they don't fix this mess of a game. And the worst part is i want to love this game, the mechanics and the game itself is phenomenal, it just needs some tlc and just overall more. Id be happy to pay for a dlc but it better be good and i really hope they really try to make their customers happy this time. 

Ps, i wonder if anyone at EA even reads these at this point. Id imagine not since how downhill they've gone lately

A great DLC would be to import the stories from TIE Fighter, X-Wing, and Alliance.

They should add the ships that are in those games, and also the ones from the Clone Wars.

In terms of MP content, they could take a page from SWTOR and do a version of the satellite (King of the Hill) mode.  That, or a CTF mode.

This game can be SO MUCH MORE than it is.  They make it big enough MORE people will buy it, and continue to buy it for YEARS!

B-Wing, Z95, TIE Adv and TIE Defender for me from a ship perspective.

But what my friends and I want, is co-op-able campaigns against AI. The PvP environment can get a little rough at times, but being able to play through a series of missions in increasing difficulty, set within the star wars universe? Heck yes. I don't think it would even take that much effort to do, a small amount of voice acting and some level creation.

They could even cheat a bit and just recreate the campaigns from X-Wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs TIE and X-Wing Alliance for extra retro brownie points.

It should be noted for people saying DLC is cancer and/or those asking for Expansion Packs that DLC and Expansions Packs are the same thing by different names.

What DLC is now is what Expansion Packs were in the past.

If they release a DLC pack and call it an Expansion Pack that's fine by me.

I'm sure there is some sort of plan in place - but they are likely waiting to see how things went with regard to general sales and what kind of support the community is showing.

I, for one, would love to see additional single-player story-related content, as well as additional ships - You know you want B-Wings and TIE-Advanced.

...And TIE-Defenders, of course.
