A little additional information: I tried plugging in a several year old LG USB-connected controller. Again, Windows was able to recognize and calibrate the controller (this time, the right stick was the Z axis). Jedi Fallen Order wasn't able to recognize the controller at all - not the buttons, not the D-pad, and neither stick.
Another update. I managed to connect with Origin support, who stated that this controller is not supported with the game. Only Dualshock and Xbox Controllers were indicated as natively supported (not clear if this is a complete list).
It boggles my mind how the OS could be able to interact with the controller perfectly fine, but Origin's software can't.

I am trying to use the SteelSeries Stratus XL with Jedi Fallen Order (JFO). The game cannot seem to recognize the left and right triggers (R2, L2).
Alienware 17R4
Windows 10, 64bit
Engine version 3.16.2
App ID 161244f1-7de4-4141-47cb-d5b35d902f3f
Stratus XL Firmware Version: 1.69.0.0
The Steelseries website doesn't have any more recent engine version. Plugging my controller in to my computer via USB and leaving it there doesn't initiate any update - firmware seems up to date.
The controller mostly works with the game. I can run around (left stick), jump ( Y ), attack (X), change camera angle (right stick), and use Force Slow (R1)
JFO in-game controls default to using R2 and L2 for various functions, like zooming in/out on the map, and using Force Push (R2). When I try using the R2/L2 buttons on the controller to perform these actions, the game does not respond.
I tried to remap the controls in game (in the game options), in which I left mouse click the control to remap then press the button to use, but the game doesn't respond when I press the L2 or R2 buttons - it sits there awaiting input.
I went to Windows' "Set up USB Game Controllers" and calibrated the controller. It sees the R2/L2 buttons as Z axis, and registers input during calibration.
When I open the SteelSeries Engine 3 application, with the controller turned on and connected via bluetooth (which is how I use it), and go to Gear, the only gear shown is the Stratus XL (it's the only steelseries gear I own). The item shows colored/reddish, indicating it's connected. If I do this with the controller disabled, the line is grayed out with "not connected" shown to the left side.
I looked through the SteelSeries Engine 3 application on my computer for any controls that would let me remap the L2/R2 keys to something else, so that the game might see them, but I don't see any option to do this.
How can I get this controller to work with the game? Is there a way I can remap the buttons?
Thanks in advance!
