Support Ship Points

Hey all, first post here - 

Been enjoying my experience with Squadrons so far, but I gotta ask - what is the draw to flying support ships as far as Glory points?  I've found myself really enjoying the U-Wing and Reaper support role, but it seems dumb that I don't get credit for heals, only kills/assists/cap ship damage.  Shouldn't there be another column for heals?

Not to turn a space flight sim into an RPG, but every other ship gets points for their role, and it seems like flying support is like being a medical professional in COVID times - lots of thanks but little appreciation or glory.

Just a thought.  Anyone else?
