DICE TeamI wish reviewers picked up on the issue. WorthABuy released a quick video before his full review that said VR and HOTAS was broken. In his full review he said he's quickly mentioned he's not not playing in VR because it's broken. I wish I had seen that before I bought it.
At least with Mechwarrior 5, they let people know ahead of time they were scrapping VR. I still purchased that game, but after playing Elite Dangerous in VR, it didn't feel right playing a cockpit game in pancake mode. It's like how I used to think it was great playing Wing Commander with a 4 button gamepad, but now I feel like I need a mouse with like 14 buttons to play Doom.
Good point that no reviewers mentioned the HOTAS issues. Have EA even acknowledged the fact that the implementation of HOTAS is broken and requires a fix? I still cannot play this game. If I had heard of any issues I would never have wasted my money.
Same with me, I picked up the game and a HOTAS due to the support claims, I have a HORI which is not the cheapest of PS4 flight sticks.
