SWBF 2015 Australian Servers

I know the Australian servers aren't very populated on PC for Battlefront 2015, but I just want to know if they still exist for me and my friends to play on.

Years ago I tried a custom match with 1 friend on Australian servers, but the latency suggested we were pinging to the US servers, which are much more active than the AUS ones.

I've got a few friends who are keen to get the game, but I don't want to encourage them to get it if the server has been shut off, as unlike myself they most likely won't want to play on the US / European servers.

I understand it costs money to run a server and it would make sense if they have been shut off, but I can't find any information anywhere to say they have been.

Does anyone know this situation?
