Appreciate that this is already on the fix radar, but just to report I'm experiencing it too (intermittently) - this is in VR (Valve Index, SteamVR)
Played last night and the target square was correctly tracking, but on other occasions it's been wildly wrong - sometimes actually tracking but just wrongly offset, and sometimes not stuck to the target at all but moving with my head (in the opposite direction. i.e move head to the right, it moves the target square to the left)
WHY IS THIS MARKED AS "SOLVED"???
This is most certainly NOT solved - can someone please update it accordingly so they won't think this is fixed in some way as it absolutely is NOT.

I think they also combined two threads into this one. I had posted my workaround in both threads but now links to the other one leads here.
@Straatford87 @YabosMcGee Well first I'm glad you basically showed me we can @ tag people here, very good to know.
And I realize he marked it as solved but this is in NO WAY solved AT ALL - and should NOT be marked as such. NONE of the posted work arounds have ever fixed things for me, they change things ever so slightly so that the reticle moves a bit less crazy or isn't quite as far off of where it should be but it is still completely and totally unusable. As such this is absolutely NOT solved and should NOT be marked as such.
I primarily worry that if it is INCORRECTLY marked as solved, as it is right now, it will fall off a to-do list that it absolutely needs to be on. I still basically can't play the game and am waiting for this to be fixed so I can. I'm unfortunately outside the return window on Steam so I don't really want to fight that fight with them but I currently have paid for a game that I basically can't play - and having the ticket marked as solved when it absolutely is NOT is just a slap in the face to those of us who still can't play properly.
