Train slide of darkness

Summarize your bug Cutscene not triggering, falling/sliding infinitely during train cutscene
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It only occurs during the cargo train sequence at the beginning of the game. When the train gets shot down and Cal begins to slide, when he is supposed to jump and trigger the cutscene, the ship is nowhere on the screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? When you are supposed to grab onto the ship, during the sliding sequence, when you jump off of the last train car, the screen goes completely black and you slide/ fall forever.
What do you expect to see? To be able to trigger the cutscene with the ship and be able to complete this portion of the game.

This has happened 6 or 7 times.  I tried restarting my Xbox multiple times as well as uninstalling and installing the game, but neither of these actions helped me.  I'm very close to just going back and returning the game, I really wanted to like it, but the bugs are game breaking.  

Same here bud. I wasted 30-45 minutes restarting and trying random crap trying to change the outcome of falling into darkness over and over. 

I didn't even make it to 2nd Sister when I hit this issue. Here's a video of what I'm getting. Sorry for the language.

This sucks. But the Solution is to just start over. I started a new story from the beginning and was able to make it past the train scene to the 2nd Sister battle. I don't think that this is a solution but a band aid fix. If you have to do this every time you hit a "darkness loop" then the game won't be playable imo. 

I totally agree and I hate starting over because I feel like I’m just going to hit one of the other bugs that I keep seeing people post about. I might just give it a week or 2 before trying again. 

Same issue. I died in the prologue fight with the sister after the slide and it took me back to the part just before they bomb the train. Slide down, no rescue ship arrives, fall forever. I deleted my save and had to re-do everything up to that point and fight the sister again, but it worked fine after that. Best I can figure is that dying to the sister is part of the problem.

You have to restart the game. I had the issue and reported it but there still hasn’t been a patch to fix it. Just start a new journey and sprint threw it I know it sucks but I got tired of waiting for a patch :/

I restarted story-line, but it did not work for me.
