Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Aikanar🤭ronra
Are you playing in VR? Yes
Which VR Platform are you using? Other
Please explain 'Other'
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Other
What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful. It always happens, so I can be in a menu, or playing, or in a cutscene, it doesn't matter.
Where did this issue occur? Please include menu name or in game location. Every point in the game
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 12-12-2020 22:00
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Can't play
What happens when the bug occurs? About every 10 seconds or so the orientation randomly changes to a random position. So being in the menu's the menu will move to my left, or down, or up, or suddenly up close to my face. In a cockpit I'll suddenly be really low, or high up, move back or forward, etc. Also, head-tracking works when turning my head (left, right, up or down) but I can't MOVE my head, so forward, back, left or right or up (standing) or down (ducking).
What do you expect to see? Head tracking works as intended, I'm free to move about in the virtual space and calibration is permanent. I can imagine it drifting a bit after extended play, but not every 10 seconds to a completely random, different position.
Which ship were you playing? If not applicable, just answer "no" or "none." none
What components were you using? An HP Reverb G2, running on a Windows (10) machine. 9900K processor, 32GB of RAM and an ASUS RTX 2080 SUPER.
Which customizations (if any) were you using? none

1. In VR, the head orientation keeps jumping around. At random intervals (mostly somewhere between 10 seconds and 1 minutes) the calibrated viewpoint jumps to the left, right, up and/or down. So dealing with menu's: sometimes the menu will pop down to below me, or suddenly very close to my head. It will also suddenly turn to the side.

Or in-game, while I'm in the cockpit I suddenly move up or down in the seat or forward or back.

Recalibrating the headset by pressing the corresponding control on my controller works, but only until it shifts again a couple seconds later. It would seem the headset's tracking is off, but this actually functions perfectly in any other app.

2. Also, and probably related, looking left, right, up or down works perfectly, but I cannot move my head either left right forward or back, so being in the menu's I can look around, but moving my head forward won't bring me closer to the menu, it's as if I'm stuck in place. It's the same in the cockpit.

The random changes in orientation described in problem 1 are actually precisely on the plane I am stuck in in problem 2 (Moving forward, backward, left, right, up and down). Turning my head up, down, left and right works fine.

- I'm running the (latest) Origin version of Squadrons.

- I'm on the latest version of Windows

- I'm on the latest version of SteamVR

- I'm running the latest drivers by Nvidia

- My headset is a brand new HP Reverb G2 (On Windows Mixed Reality) which doesn't show any of these problems in any other game/app.

- I'm on an i7 9900K, 32Gig of RAM, ASUS RTX 2080 SUPER.
